Maasai Mara TVC

The training aimed to equip the newly elected student leaders of Maasai Mara TVC for the 2025/2026 academic year with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required for effective and responsible leadership.

The engagement was highly participatory and impactful, with Trainees demonstrating increased clarity of purpose, improved leadership awareness, and a renewed commitment to serving the student body responsibly. The induction marked an important step in nurturing competent, ethical, and service-oriented student leaders at Maasai Mara TVC

The training placed strong emphasis on student leadership skills development. Trainees were guided on how to lead with integrity, serve responsibly, and engage constructively with management and fellow students.

Delivery of the program was highly interactive, experiential, and learner-centered, with extensive use of games and practical activities. Games were deliberately selected to simulate real leadership situations such as teamwork under pressure, trust-building, communication breakdowns, and decision-making.

After each game, structured reflection sessions were conducted to capture key lessons, link the experiences to leadership concepts, and translate insights into practical leadership behaviors applicable within the student council context.

A core component of the induction was self-awareness, which enabled participants to develop a deeper understanding of themselves as leaders. Through guided reflection, values clarification, personality based exercises, and leadership style assessments, student leaders explored their strengths, areas for growth, emotional intelligence, and personal leadership identity. This foundation helped them appreciate how self-awareness directly influences leadership behavior, decision making, and relationships.
